David has been passionate about taking photographs for almost his whole life. He has developed an eye for capturing images since picking up his first camera aged just six years old. His first excursion into the darkroom was at age eight, when he manually developed and printed black and white images of pretty cars he'd seen around his home town of Tavistock, in the south-west of England.
David learnt the finer points of darkroom techniques at Plymouth College of Art and Design, and is completely self-taught in the realm of digital imaging and post-processing. He now shoots with a wide variety of equipment, ranging from the latest digital SLRs and lenses, to obscure and unique film cameras.
